Based at the foot of the ‘Mene Bre’ (the highest hill in the region), the cottages back onto a woodland footpath which takes you right the way to the top. The walk takes around thirty minutes and meanders it’s way past fields of cows or assorted crops. Once at the summit you are given exceptional 360° views of the area. There is an old chapel where guided tours are given in English by a local boy.

Armoripark

5 minutes drive from Kermarie is the Armoripark, an adventure park featuring a swimming pool, waterslides, toboggan ride, mini golf, trampolines, remote control boats and a restaurant. There are also animals such as goats and geese. [View: Armoripark Website]
Also nearby, horse riding, a golf course, and tennis courts.

Guingamp
10 minutes drive away, a medieval market town, with supermarkets and boutiques, restaurants, cafés and bars, and a medieval circuit walk taking you around cobbled back streets, etc. [View: Guingamp Website]

Lannion
15 minutes drive away, a picturesque town featuring a large market every Thursday. There are large supermarkets and other shops here, also a large selection of restaurants including a Mcdonalds! Canoeing can be done on the tidal river flowing through the town. [View: Lannion Website]

Cotes D’Armor
is well known for it’s beautiful coastline. 30 minutes from Kermarie you can find the pink granite coast ‘la cote de granite rose’. Here you can find rocky cliffs, secluded sandy coves, and vast expanses of unspoilt golden beaches. There are some breath taking views looking out to the ocean dotted with tiny islands, where otters, puffins and other fascinating sea birds live. There are numerous boat trips to see the wildlife. Around the coast you’ll see houses and garden walls, etc. built from the pink granite. There are so many beaches and coves, making it easy to find your own little haven.

Perros Guirec
